Biography:
Hello, my name is Becka and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC.) I’m passionate about creating a safe, empathetic, empowering space for clients to increase their awareness, become closer to their authentic selves, and ideally grow. My approach is rooted in trauma and systems-informed care, neurological underpinnings and psychoeducation, and acceptance and awareness building. I work with children, adolescents, and adults to navigate barriers of all kinds to increase their overall life satisfaction.
I earned my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. I have worked in a variety of therapeutic settings spanning from schools, nonprofit organizations, and community mental health agencies and found that my passion lies in increasing access to mental health care and decreasing barriers for individuals, in whatever ways permit.
