I have had experience with adult individuals and couples. One of the bravest things a person can do is ask for help. Needing help does not make you weak, it makes you human. It is my goal as a therapist to provide a safe environment to help in the exploration, processing, and solution-finding process. I believe each person is unique with their own background, beliefs, understandings, and lived experience. I hope to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for my clients to explore their feelings and thoughts.
I am passionate about areas of Anxiety, Depression, Addictions, Relationships, Greif, Trauma, Life Transitions, and Identity Development.
The therapeutic experience is clients led and using an array of modalities we will work together to progress toward your goals. I primarily utilize techniques from evidence-based theories including Person-Centered Therapy, Emotional Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy and Internal Family Systems. Needing help can be a very isolating, it is my goal to provide a space for you to explore feelings and thoughts with a person who genuinely cares and can understand where you are coming from.
During our sessions, we will make goals and objectives and I will support, encourage, and challenge you in that process as we make that journey together.
