I am a LPC Intern currently completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I bring an integrative, trauma-informed approach to my work with individuals navigating major life transitions, including grief and loss, divorce, traumatic injury, and significant physical or hormonal changes such as perimenopause and menopause. I also support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, chronic stress, and co-occurring concerns, including behavioral addictions. My clinical interests include exploring how trauma, identity, attachment, and lived experience shape self-worth, relationships, and meaning.
My work was initially inspired by my background as an athletic trainer and nutritionist, where I supported high-performing athletes coping with injury, performance anxiety, body image concerns, and disordered eating. While my work now spans a wide range of mental health needs, this foundation continues to inform my understanding of how pressure, identity, and the body intersect in healing.
I primarily draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help clients clarify what matters most and take meaningful action, even in the presence of discomfort. I also incorporate Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy, a trauma-focused, attachment-based approach grounded in neuroscience and emotion-focused work that supports the transformation of emotional suffering into resilience and connection.
My style is inclusive and strength-based, grounded in both psychological and physiological perspectives. As a trauma-informed yoga instructor with training in gut–brain health, vagal toning, and the neurobiology of trauma, I support clients in understanding the deep connection between emotional healing and nervous system regulation. My whole-person approach honors each client’s unique history, body, culture, and nervous system. Together, we work toward deeper self-understanding, self-compassion, and a life that feels more authentic and aligned.
