I am a person-centered therapist and find tremendous value in having an unconditional positive regard for you, my client, as you tell your story. I have been a licensed professional counselor for the past seven years and have helped children and adults from all walks of life move past their presenting issues to feel less burdened by life. With over fifteen years of experience in the field of healing and Psychology, I have assisted many in their journey towards integrated health and personal growth. In addition to the wisdom gained from my own and other's inner exploration, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Expressive Arts Therapy and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology.

My areas of research, training, and focus have been on Trauma and PTSD resolution, body-centered therapies, attachment work, Expressive Arts Therapy, and addressing emotional/psychological/physical/sexual abuse. I am trained in Brainspotting, a branch of EMDR, which focuses directly on using the body and nervous system to release trauma and PTSD, re-pattern attachment wounding, and discharge stuck, outdated, experiences. Additionally, I have a background as a musician and dancer and use Expressive Arts Therapy techniques when needed or desired.

Developing the skill of mindfulness and cultivating an inner reflective observer is the cornerstone of my personal and professional work. My approach is an integration of mind-body communication and individual and systemic, strengths-based practice. I combine a comprehensive training background, clinical skills and personal experience to support people on their own unique journey towards personal growth.

I am also aware of and sensitive to the unique differences which arise out of race, gender, social class, sexual orientation, and religious diversity. I seek to address the “whole” person from a social, cultural, and trans-personal awareness.
